André FRAYE ( 1887-1963 )View of Vendée After the first world war until the end of his life, André Fraye regularly exhibited in major galleries of Paris: Druet, Marcel Bernheim, Royale, Charpentier.We mention particularly, in june 1947, the Durand-Ruel Gallery where he exhibited the portrait of "Maufra dans son atelier" painted in 1914 among works by artists such as Bonnard, Degas, Gauguin, Manet, Monet, Renoir, Vuillard... During his career, he travelled frequently along the mediterranean coast, also in Bretagne, Vendée, or on the banks of Seine.
